HIDIVE has announced that it will begin streaming Cygames and P.A. Work‘s original TV anime, Akiba Maid Wars (Akiba Meido Sensō) English dub premiering January 14 at 12:00 p.m. EST. The anime premiered in Japan on various TV networks last October 6, 2022, and ran for 12 episodes. HIDIVE also streamed the series as it aired simultaneously.

Akiba Maid War is an original TV anime series created by Cygames and P.A. Works. The series is directed by Sōichi Masui and written by Yoshihiro Hiki, with character designs by Manabu Nii, and music by Yoshihiro Ike. The original work for the anime is credited to “Kedamono Land Management Strategy Room“. It was announced on December 24, 2022, that the series will receive a stage play adaptation which will open in Tokyo in September 2023.

Akihabara is the center of the universe for the coolest hobbies and quirkiest amusements. In the spring of 1999, bright-eyed Nagomi Wahira moves there with dreams of joining a maid café.
