What’s on Netflix reported that big anime titles like Bleach, Death Note, Berserk, and Vampire Knight will be removed from Netflix USA on October 15, 2022. These anime series are said to have shown their removal notices on Netflix.
For Death Note and Vampire Knight, it’s their respective first seasons that will be removed. In the case for Bleach and Berserk, it is going to be their films. Check the complete list below:

- Berserk the Golden Age Arc II: The Battle for Doldrey (2012)
- Berserk the Golden Age Arc III: The Advent (2013)
- Bleach the Movie: Fade to Black (2008)
- Bleach the Movie: Hell the Verse (2010)
- Death Note (Season 1) (2006)
- Vampire Knight (Season 1) (2008)
On the other hand, titles like Death Note and Berserk are included in Nippon TV’s deal with Netflix. The countries included in this deal are: Spain, Italy, Finland, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, South Africa – among others.
It was assumed that USA is not part of the deal, as it was not mentioned. In case you haven’t watched the aforementioned anime titles above, then it is about time! Make the most of it before it leaves on October 15!

Bleach the Movie: Fade to Black and Hell Verse are film adaptations from the anime series Bleach. Tite Kubo is the author of Bleach.
Fade to Black was released first in 2008. Its story is about Rukia Kuchiki, who got attacked in Seiretei, which resulted in her memory loss. Ichigo also forgot about her until Kon made him remember. He and Kon then decided to investigate what happened to Rukia. Along the way, he discovered that his allies have forgotten about him.
Hell Verse was released in 2010. It is about the escape of prisoners from Hell to the real world – Karakura, where Ichigo and his friends live in. The prisoners overpower Ichigo and the others, until a mysterious man saved the day.
Death Note Story

Death Note is a 2006 anime adaptation of the manga written by Tsugumi Ohba.
It is a story about a bored yet highly intelligent teenager named Light Yagami. By chance, he was able to get his hands on the mysterious Death Note. It is a notebook that if a human’s name is written on it, they will die. After proving its accuracy, Light began using it to cleanse the world of evil – specifically from criminals under the name “Kira”. Light/Kira made it his goal to make a new world with him as a god. That is until a mysterious and remarkable detective, L, decided to stop him.
Berserk: The Golden Arc Movies Story

Berserk: The Golden Arc trilogy movies are the adaptation of Berserk the manga series written by Kentarou Miura.
The first movie is about the wandering mercenary, Guts. He is a very strong swordsman. He managed to defeat every opponent along the way, until he was defeated by Griffiths. Griffiths is the leader of the mercenary group, Band of the Hawk. Guts had no choice but to be recruited in this group.
In the sequel, Guts tried to leave the group to pursue his own ambitions after winning battles. Griffith tried to make him stay, but to no avail. He then made a decision that could change Band of the Hawk’s future.
In the third installment, Band of the Hawk deteriorated when Guts left for a year. When he returned, he found out that the members are now being hunted down. Griffith was imprisoned and tortured for committing treason. However, Griffith is now the shell of his former self.
Vampire Knight Season 1 Story

Vampire Knight Season 1 is the anime adaptation from the manga series written by Hino Matsuri.
Season 1 is about Yuuki Cross and Zero Kiryuu assigned to uphold the order between Day and Night Classes in Cross Academy. What the Day Class did not know is that the students in the Night Class are actually pureblood vampires. Yuuki has complicated feelings towards a pureblood vampire named Kaname Kuran, who is the leader of the Night Class. Kaname saved her from an accident 10 years ago. But Zero is against humans and vampires living together in harmony.
