It has been a couple of months since BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War captured fans’ hearts once again with its latest season. Now, the official Twitter page of the anime has released a notice that the series’ Blu-ray will be released soon, and is listed for 13 episodes along with extended scenes done by the creator himself!
The premiere of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War was the most anticipated anime comeback of 2022 overall, and it appeared that each of the new episodes had exceeded fans’ very high expectations despite the fact that Bleach had been off the air for a decade. After Part 1, it’s only a matter of waiting for Part 2’s wave of episodes later this year.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 1 will be released on Blu-ray and DVD around the globe later this April, according to a recent statement, and the additional bonuses fans of the Bleach anime can expect from this new release have been disclosed. Fortunately for fans of the anime, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will include some bonus materials from one of the episodes written directly by series creator Tite Kubo.
Check out the official announcement from Bleach’s official Twitter account:
The Blu-ray release of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 1 will include some extra content for Episode 5. The additional material will include an extended sequence with new scenes for Bernice Gabrielli, also known as the “Q” Sternritter, and one of those who perished fast at the hands of Kenpachi Zaraki. Tite Kubo, the creator of the Bleach series, is supplying more lines for this opponent that we only got a few seconds of during the initial airing, so it will be interesting to see what this new scenario will be.
