Is everybody ready to meet Anime version Denji? Reliable sources have leaked that the first episode of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Chainsaw Man is set to release on the 11th of October 2022. However, official accounts of both the studio (MAPPA) and the anime are yet to make an official announcement regarding the matter.
Ever since the anime adaptation announcement during Jump Festa 2021 last December 2020, fans have been looking forward to the first season of the anime. Chainsaw Man received recognition for its unfiltered and starkly violent art which made the manga gain popularity among fans.
Chainsaw man follows a young man named Denji who tries to pay off his severe debt. In the middle of paying it off, he dies, but later gets reborn as a a powerful devil-human hybrid after he merges with his pet devil. He is soon enlisted into an organization dedicated to hunting devils while continuing to pay off the debt of his dead father while working for that organization.

The upcoming series will be animated by none other than MAPPA. Known for its astounding set of adapted anime, MAPPA has garnered recognition from anime fans all over the world especially with anime shows and series like: Yuri!!! On Ice, Kids on the Slope, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, and many more.
Chainsaw Man is admired for its beautiful, yet unique, and gory art, and the animation team of the anime adaptation at MAPPA is known for their unique blend of 2D and 3D action sequences which were evident in past projects like Jujutsu Kaisen and Attack on Titan.

In fact, their magnificent animation achieved an award at the 2021 Crunchyroll Anime Awards when Jujutsu Kaisen was awarded “Anime of the Year.” Chainsaw man fans can definitely rest easy knowing that the anime adaptation of the manga is in good hands.
While the October 11 premiere of the anime may be true, fans still need to wait for the official announcement of the studio and the official account for further details and confirmation. The Chainsaw Man anime is set to premiere on Crunchyroll simultaneously with the Japan release.
