Me & Roboco Parody Anime Announced for 2023, Gets First Visual

By Ashley De MesaSeptember 23, 2022

The gag manga, Me & Roboco, shared their first visual for their anime adaptation. It will release in the winter of 2023. The anime will premiere on TV Tokyo and its affiliate broadcast channels, according to the Weekly Shounen Jump magazine issue no. 32.

It is a rather hilarious visual, as it showcases the knees of the main character, Roboco, in a colorful collage.

It was also announced that the key visual for the anime will be revealed by September 26, 2022. That is only a few days from now, so fans cannot wait to see more!

Me & Roboco Story

Me & Roboco is about a futuristic time where OrderMaids, or robotic maids are being hired by several households. It is an ongoing trend, and even the young Bondo Taira’s friends, Motsuo and Gachi Gorilla are having one. Bondo got envious when he witnessed Meico, Motsuo’s OrderMaid, who gives excellent massages and drinks. Bondo then asked his mother to have an OrderMaid too.

But the OrderMaid that arrived at Bondo’s doorstep is not what he expected. This OrderMaid named Roboco is muscular and clumsy in doing even the simple household chores. Bondo did not want it at first. But as time goes by, Bondo and his friends will realize that there is more to Roboco than meets the eye.

It also made fun of the hate towards the manga by including “The problematic work of laugher presented by Shonen Jump“. The manga characters of Me & Roboco are seen celebrating with joy.

It also indicated that the anime will premiere by 2023, but there are no specific month and date yet. It also presented the source of updates, which is Me & Roboco’s official Twitter and the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

As of now, there are no announcements yet about the cast and staff involved in the anime.
