Season 2 will finally be the time to meet new characters who’ll help keep the storyline more interesting.
Hence, to keep you entertained while waiting, we have gathered ten facts to relive the happenings in season 1 and prepare for the upcoming season:
10. Rudeus Greyrat is Hailed a Child Prodigy
Rudeus Greyrat has surprised even his own parents, Paul and Zenith, because of his abilities. He was born a powerful magician who could do voiceless incantation at a young age. Due to his curiosity about the new world, Rudeus read magic books endlessly and practiced his magical abilities alone until his father finally hired him as a teacher. Even his teacher, Roxy, who has reached the third highest ranking, King Ranked Water Magician, is still incapable of voiceless incantation.
It is rare for magicians to reach such mastery, which has gained Rudeus a lot of praise. Moreover, as a kid, Rudeus could cast powerful magic spells like the Nuclear Explosion that could destroy a whole land. His gift allowed him to tutor Ghislaine and Eris regarding magic, math, and literacy. Aside from his Laplace factor, it can be assumed that Rudeus maintaining all of his knowledge and maturity in his past life, even as a baby, was his greatest advantage.

9. Rudeus and His Complicated Family Ties
According to sayings, the more, the merrier. Well, that literally happened for the Greyrat family. At first glance, he seemed to have been reincarnated in a smiling family in the country with his beautiful parents and a kind housemaid. However, their normal life changed when his father impregnated his childhood friend and housemaid, Lilia. This news devasted Rudues’ mother. However, her frustration was inferior to her love for her son.
Rudeus convinced her mother to let them stay with them, even the child. This unforeseen event became one of the greatest blessings for the family. Moreover, his father sent him away for a job for him to grow. Rudeus had to work as a tutor for the daughter of his father’s cousin. His student, Eris Boreas Greyrat, was technically his second cousin. However, this didn’t hinder the two from seeing each other as more than what they were.
8. Rudeus Greyrat Falls Into Depression
Rudeus Greyrat always had his comedian side within him, making the whole series more entertaining. But even a man like him has things he is afraid of the most, which is being left alone. At the same time, Eris turned 15 and asked Rudeus to be his family,
Due to their promise and Eris being persistent, they finally did it. But Rudeus’s happiness instantly vanished the morning after he read a note saying that Eris had set off on a journey of her own. Eris wants to become strong enough not to be a burden to Rudeus and be capable of protecting him as well. This decision of Eris made Rudeus relapse and lock himself up in isolation. However, he was able to face the loneliness that Eris’ absence had brought by using her mother, Zenight, as his inspiration to move forward.
7. Lilia Finds Rudeus Creepy
Lilia is the housemaid of the Greyrat Family and, later on, the second wife of Paul Greyrat. She became the family’s greatest help, especially when the couple welcomed their firstborn, Rudeus. No matter how cute as a baby Rudeus was, Lilia silently disliked him. Rudeus reincarnated as a baby in the parallel world with the mind of an adult.
Hence, there have been plenty of instances that Lilia has caught him grinning at huge breasts, pressing his face against a woman’s chest, and even hiding one of Roxy’s underwear like a treasure. However, all of this changes when Rudeus saves her and her daughter from being banished from their home after Zenith discovers the affair she had with Paul. Lilia considered Rudeus as her lifesaver and swore that even her daughter would serve Rudeus.

He taught the two his great swordsmanship skills and some Superb techniques they could utilize. He represents a true warrior’s honor and a massive amount of kindness that made some fans emotional when he left the two to continue his journey.
